VT: Year End Ride and BBQ 10/18

What: Big Ole Celebration for good rides, great people, and some excellent events this summer!!!
When: Saturday, October 18th
Where: BlueEyes Place, Underhill Flats, RT 15
Time: Ride at 10:00, BBQ at 2:00-whenever

Weather is obviously a factor, we'll play that by ear...either way we are having a BBQ, whether people ride in, go for a ride before hand, or show up in cages...its all good! A great end to a fantastic season of riding!

Markbvt has a ride planned with his Rat Pack, so that is a route possibility...people can plan some smaller rides, do whatever, just be there for the BBQ...get with BlueEyes if you want to bring anything. We'll be passin round the helmet for a min. of $5 for the main dishes that yours truly will be grilling!!!
Also, if there are any dietary needs that we should be aware of, please let us know!!!

Please RSVP as well, I know ya'll will post up and lets us know anyway.
Also, if you know that some poeple are not on the forum pass the word along!

Well, I would be down for this, if it wasn't a 4.5 hour slab ride just to get there.

Re: VT: Year End Ride and BBQ 10/18

I've got parking a-plenty so however you show up is fine. Please pm me or MotoFreak for directions.

Eats will be belly-warming: chili and cornbread, fresh-baked apple crisp, mulled cider. Plus munchies and whatever MotoFreak grills up, which will be tasty!

There's a firepit in the back so I'll have a bonfire roaring to keep us cozy. If anyone is interested in roasting weiners or marshmallows, let me know and I'll have them available!

Hope to see ya'll on the 18th!

I'm looking to get some adventure riding in, nothing to intense, just sticking to more gravel than pavement. if there is anybody else up for an adventure/dualsport ride

Re: VT: Year End Ride and BBQ 10/18

we might be down for that! As a special request (I know it is out of the ordinary) but can the Chili keep Jalapenos (and anything hotter) on the side to be added after, Keira is allergic to the chemical in those peppers and she loves chili... if not that is fine, just let us know either way so she knows if she can eat it or not.

Re: VT: Year End Ride and BBQ 10/18

Weather dependant. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess 10/18 will be way too cold to get me to wake the bike up out of hibernation. Actually I don't think I'll be doing anymore real rides this season (more than down the road and back).

Given recent cold snaps, I don't think this'll be a foliage ride unless the ride happened over this past weekend, or is happening right quick like. The flora and Fauna is at full tilt around here at the moment. Leaves is fallin.

Re: VT: Year End Ride and BBQ 10/18

10-18, I should be good for a ride and stuff, but i have to check with my boss first. I have a vague recolection that she had me planned for something but I wasn't really paying attention so I'm not sure.

I'll get back to you.
