Anyone doing an adult Halloween party or maybe a night out in Salem MA? I'm trying to find a reason to dress up and go have some fun!! If nobody has anything planned, would anyone be interested in setting up something?

The last place I would want to be before or on Halloween is Salem (I live 10 min away). The roads going in/out of there are a nightmare. Not to mention the number of nutbags that come out of the woodwork that week...

Been there before...I know how it goes with traffic. LOL I still think it's fun because everything is set up for Halloween...the haunted house, the *real* cemetery (so old and the tombstones are real creepy), the witches and wizards of Salem walking around, etc. If you park a little bit further then where all the action is and walk to the center of the festivities, it goes faster anyway, and you're out of there easier after you're done.

It doesn't have to be Salem anyway. Anywhere where there is something set up for Halloween party goers would be cool, or if anyone is willing to have a party at their house and people dressing up and everyone bringing some food, we'd have a good time.

I had a midterm at Salem State one year, which the professor scheduled on halloween, I was ready to stab him. It took me like 45 minutes to get out of salem after class. (night classes, got out at 9pm)

The traffic situation in the afternoons and evenings is already super-fubar.

Saw a gang of sport bikers out front of Salem State College tonight. Gave me a bunch of nods and waves as I rode by. Anyone here?

Do you know a bit of the stores/boutiques in your town? I misplaced my tavern wench dress and I may need to buy another costume. I'm looking at a place who could specialize in medieval costumes (renaissance) or Gothic (looking at covenant/vampire/etc. attires) ?? If they have an online store, it would be helpful.
