Possible Ride Thurs, 10/18

I'm planning on a bit of a mental health ride next week. It'll be either Tuesday or Thursday, depending on the weather. I've already notified the bosses that I'd be takin' one of those days off (it's great working for a family business!!), but I'm not sure which one yet. I will keep it posted here, but it'll probably be short notice....

If I get some interest, I'll be exploring some semi unfamiliar routes in southwest NH. If there's little to no interest, I'll be heading north of The Big Lake or maybe into Maine. Either way, it'll be mostly exploratory so I can't promise a pace one way or the other. But I WILL be stopping periodically to um, "take the edge off"

If any one may be interested in this, lemme me know here and keep an eye on this thread. If the weather geeks can come up with a definite forcast (yeah, right!!), I'll know a bit earlier what day I'll be going...

As of now, it's lookin' like Thursday'll be the day. I'll still wait to hear from anyone that's interested before I decide which way I'm gonna head...

Actually Mick, that may be a bit too far south for me and I'll tell ya why:

Due to the fact that I work an hour from home, the babysitters we use are down near where I work. Which means in order to go play for the day, I hafta bring the baby down to the sitter then go back home to get the bike. That's a two hour round trip BEFORE I even throw a leg over the bike...

Then after I'm done, I gotta go back home, get in the car and drive down to get her and drive back home. Which gives me another two hour round trip, yielding me FOUR hours of drive time in the cage...

At this point, it's lookin' like I may just do some exploring up my way and maybe even head into Maine...

Hope that doesn't fuck up plans you may have made to skip outta work!!

I'll be picking up my new bike tommorrow in Rye, NH. If your gonna be in the area, and might be interested in riding let me know. I'll have another bike with me, and might pick up another later in the day. Haven't meet anyone from this forum yet.

I'm guessing you mean other riders? I can't fathom how you'd be riding 3 bikes!!!

Actually, my plans have changed dramatically tonight. Our baby has gotten sick, and we may end up spending some time at the doctor's office tomorrow playing hurry up & wait. Not sure when they're gonna be able to get her in, not sure how long we'll be there...

But gimme some ideas of where in Rye you'll be and about what time. I can't guarantee I'll make it, but if things work out for the better, I'll give it a shot...

FUCK, FUCK, FUCKITY-FUCK!!! Doctor can't get us in 'til 1:00, and even then it's an "add-on". That means we could be waiting up to TWO HOURS there before she even gets to see the doctor. I love my daughter to death, but man! Talk about a change of plans...

Instead of riding all day today, I end up having to deal with a screaming, miserable baby all morning THEN go sit in a doctor's office for most likely most of the afternoon...

The very second she falls asleep, I'm gettin' LIT!!!

Yeah, first of all I meant other riders Second of all, if you get lit and I dont this is for you to.

And about the riding, sounds like your gonna be busy with more important matters, but anyways my rides picking me up at 1:00 to go get my bike should be riding around 2:00. Gonna probably just ride around the local area, hampton rye beaches, maybe up to york, then maybe down to manchester. Your not missing much. Definately going riding this weekend though, Great Bay Triumph is having a charity ride Sunday from Rye, starting at there shop to Gunstock. Im probably going along.

Oh yeah and HAHAHA glad I dont have kids yet
