Schweet, yeah the thunderstorms are hit or miss that afternoon as well. Like I told Steve if we notice a whole lot of blackness headed our way we just point our route home, I think we'll be OK.

The gixxer and I had a nice slide today...goin around a nice corner, back tire lost traction and that's all she wrote...slide across oncoming traffic, almost run over by a SUV, lol. But turned out alright, I'm fine, the bike's fine just some cosmetic damage. The other Matt's got some pics of the damage to the bike to post up...i'll post some of the damage to me when i get a chance....

Funny thing is, a pair of headphones in my back pocket saved my ass....literally. I slid on the headphones instead of my ass....haha

glad to hear you got home ok- I just got back- we ended up doing a short portion of 116 4 times back and forth. I avoided rain for the most part.


Set up a different thread to talk about the low side.

Lets do that ride again in the future once your bike gets fixed- you need to take that turn again without wrecking

Home, great day. It realy nice to meet everyone.

Really glad Matt is O.K. We continued on to Rt 116, ran it a couple of times and then Cory and I went all the way over Rt 116 to Rt 9.

kb1ioq: I hit rain near you house around 3:30 for about 20 minutes. Other than
that, the weather was perfect for riding today!

I just got home! Pulled in my driveway at 7:30, so 12 hours of riding for me today, then summer nationals for a few hours. Its alright up there, nothing special, not worth the 12.00 for admission
