Thanks Dave

Myself and my budy Pete followed Dave around southern NH this afternoon for what he calls a "Lunch Ride" I called it an hour and a half reminder that I suck. I really enjoyed the rout that he took, the pace tht he set (even if I couldn't always keep up), and I learned a lot from following him, from taking a corner to how to properly lead a ride. He showed me what my bike is capable of in the right hands! Thanks Dave and I hope to not slow you down as much the next time.

Glad you had fun. Don't be so hard on yourself; you didn't hold me up for more than a couple of seconds, I don't ride that fast. Thanks for the compliments, I do try to lead rides responsibly and I'm glad you appreciated that fact.

It was good to get out for a lunch ride as it's been awhile for me.

Sorry man, the ride was not my idea, it was Ken's idea originally (see his first back in the saddle post). I didn't want to step on his toes by inviting a crowd. Not saying Ken would mind, I seriously doubt he would; I just didn't want to "take over" the ride any more than I already did by leading it.

This is what happens when I try to be a nice guy...

Like any dog in a pack I know when to bark and when to tuck my tail between my legs, and a good time for that is whenever you are around! I had/have NO PROBLEM letting you "take over" the ride. It was actually refreshing to NOT be the leader for a change. I learnt more this way. Additionally, you are a shrewd amn in thinking that I would not mind others comming along. The more the merrier. I'm going to try to get out Monday and Tuesday next week. All are welcome, and any are welcome to lead!
