VT Saturday 9/6/03

Early start.

The begining of the ride may drag a bit till we get to the good part of rt 2 then cut over to VT. Then its the balls!!

I want to Depart from Marlboro junction of Rt20 & 495 @ the Shell Station. Departure @ 8 AM sharp...

I will run through some routes and map out something. What is a good site or program to use for mapping routes???

Any route suggestions will gladly be accepted! I am going to go by memory of past rides and luck for now!

meeting spot

I want in on this ride, should we meet at motomarket? You could head up there after picking up some people at the junction of 20 and 495. You could be there say 8:30 and then depart at 8:45 or 9:00. What do you think?

FYI 2 things...
from a killington email...
This weekend's weather looks great for our Killington Classic Motorcycle Rally. You can come up for the day, or the entire weekend and participate in guided tours, scavenger hunts, and fun runs.

Steer clear of Rutland.

the city of Rutland will host entertainment, a parade and a trip to the Vermont State Fair.

A very long & "FAST" day, that RC is so fucking great I feel like I am on rails in Corners...

so break down on ride, 14 1/2 hous (7:30AM start - 10PM) 430 Miles of very excellent roads! & just when you think the funs over A MA STATE TROOPER tell you the funs over and hands a speeding ticket to me!!

I guess the ticket was way over due! 1st one on the bike ever, and 1st ticket in 6 years! I may fight it just to knock it down. Bad thing is everybody was doing 80-85 on RT2 which is 55. But he liked me...

Sorry to hear about the ticket! The day was terrific and boy was I worn out when I got home. Need one of those days again soon, just too bad I have to work for a couple of hours today.
