RRR 2012: Random Rhode island Rides for 2012 thread

I'm planning on a quick 40-50 mile random ride for Wed afternoon along the RI/CT border. I'll put a time up Wed morning once I know when I'll be getting out of work

Subscribed. I'm up for a ride tonight. I work in Exeter, RI. My normal hours are until 5:30 but I work in a shop where riding is required and encouraged so I might be able to break free. Anyone?

im a big baby so am waiting for above 55 degrees to go for any real rides, but once that happens, it's on like donkey kong. It is a good idea to start a new thread for 2012.

I always wonder, on this forum, there seem to be like 20 people in RI, tops. But ill be driving on the highway and see like 3 groups of 8-10 bikes riding around. WHO ARE all these other riders? Dumb squids from prov? secret society racers from hope valley? ninja swimsuit models from tiverton?

dammit we need a bike gang. where are we on those vests? haha

Things are a bit tighter now for me with the dog, but with a days notice, I should be able to work something out for some evening rides. I'm ready anytime, I've already logged quite a few miles for this time of year
And it's the first year ever for me that I have been on my bike at least once during every month over the winter

Sometimes I think I am the only non HD rider in Hope Valley. I have to sneak out in the early morning and return in the night.

I'm new to Hope Valley. I work for Twisted Throttle. We're hosting a meet up and group ride on Wednesday. Meet at 5pm for some tire kicking and bench racing and see if we can figure out a ride. We would like to make it a weekly thing.

Weather is looking promising this morning.... Lets hope for the best. If it does start to rain I will hang out. I live close enough that it doesn't really matter to me and if any of you guys want to stop in anyways on the bikes or in cages I will be around. We have a DVR and I think the first round of Moto GP recorded. Our screen is 120" so every seat in the house is good.

I'm putting a small ride together this Monday 4/16. We will meet at the Burger King off exit 18 of the I95 (155 Thurbers Ave Providence RI). The ride is 55 Miles and it will have a little of everything. We plan to meet there at 6:30 PM and KSU at 7:00 PM.

There is a Shell gas station right next door so please gas up before we go.

lmfao.. Funny thing is that I know a lot of them guys, I probably shouldn't have admitted to it here but whatever. I'm from Providence and grew up in the city and once was a squid along time ago ya know. Oh and just to let you know the First all female riding club in the state of RI "ICED ELEMENTS" is having a celabration party on the 28th in cranston, tickets are 15 bucks. One of the them has a RC51 if ya wanna go let me know

I don't think my bike is clean enough to play with the squids. I need to man up and ride to work one of these days- just kind of tough since I now need to do the dress up and be an adult thing for a while since I'm the new kid Then I'll be able to come up to bike night! Jonny, I'll hit you up as soon as I'm down your way more frequently. ~3 weeks til I'm done with school work and moving, hopefully.

Edit: Shawn, I hear you there. We (the 4 non-deadbeats in my group) are hoping we can graduate at this point... and then throw the 4 deadbeats under the bus!
