scenic (foliage) bike route around Lincoln, Bolton, Hudson area?

I thought of starting at Walden pond -> 126S ->27W -> Bolton -> 85S -> 62E -> Walden pond.

I would rather stay off of main road whenever possible w/o hitting too many stop signs. Any suggestions? Also, if you know a good place for lunch along the way that would be great too.

How long do you want to ride? What are you looking for in the way of food. There are a number of options that include very few main roads. There are a couple of decent sandwich shop type places in and around these routes. Plus U will hit towns like Wayland, Acton, Sudbury that all have different types of food.

Depending upon time, weather, family...I could join up and show you some of these roads.

Where R U coming from?

this weekend

Will try to do this hopefully either Sat or Sun. I live in Lexington area, and wouldn't mind riding for around 2 hrs.

As for food. hmm... Any place to sit and grab a home cooked meal with hot apple cider?? Something with NE flavor.

Thanks for the offer for leading the ride. I’ll have to pass on it since but I don't know when it will happen (if it happens at all).

Well..if the weather is OK than I will probably head out for around 2 hours through that area anyway. I'll post here. As for specific places to eat..I'll try to come up with some on your route....

Hey All-
I saw this post yesterday and meant to ask about it but was too busy at work. (Darn work! Always gets in the way!!

Anyhoo are you guys experienced riders? I'm still a newbie, so tricks, stunts, racing etc... is not my thing...yet.

I'd be interested in riding for sure. Sunday is supposed to be in the low 60's, which is pretty much my tolerance for the colder weather riding. (Yeah go ahead and say it- I'm a wimp!)

So- more info would be great. Meeting time, place etc... If you decide to go on Sunday...

If you guys ride this saturday, I can ride with you all.

Sunday, I'll be riding with my friend (R1) and maybe some cruiser riders (slower). We both are not extreme rider, usually we do 10-15 MPH over the speed limit. We plan to ride from Brockton to northern RI and CT to 291 N, get on route 2 east towards 128S and back home. It's going to be about 7-8 hours ride. Whoever wants to join us, you are welcome. PM me and I will give you the time and meeting place..

Pdog,
Sorry man call me a wimp but I did a short ride last weekend in temps like it's gonna be on Sat and I cannot see myself going through that again! Too damn cold! And now, Sunday says AM Showers. I still want to go on Sunday but it looks like it'd have to be a later start...
