Back by popular demand, the Vanilla Bean Cafe ride.....

Weather permitting (i.e. NO RAIN), meet up around NOON to head down to the VBC, warm up at the Bean with a cup 'o Joe, then hit some decent roads in the surrounding areas.

Takers? I know of at least ONE!

Cool, let's all meet up at the Bean around 1PM, give or take 15mins...

Realistically, I've found that 2-3 hours of "spirited" riding is optimal for me, after that amount of time, I start to drift out of my "zone"...

Well unfortunately I’m out.
Papa LatinRider will be visiting this weekend, so I’ll be hanging with him.
Perhaps the weekend of the 15th, if weather permits?

Hey Joe, i might actually be up there despite the cold!
I dropped off my bike @ Bay 4 motorsports yesterday morning (in the RAIN! BRRR!!) - and it's supposed to be ready sometime this weekend. They're only 2 exits away from you

They're gonna fix your speedo cable right???

Actually, it's looking like it's going to be too cold to ride Elaine...

A high of "40F" does not exactly make for enjoyable riding....

Figures huh?!

They're gonna replace my speedo cable and service my carburetor and repair my ignition lock (why does my bike keep breaking?)

a high of 40F is pretty f...ing cold. i hope i don't freeze and die or something on my way back from tewksbury.

at least it won't be raining!

Lowest temp I saw last sunday in the rain was 46F I think, and most of you guys seemed alright, even when you were getting wet. (Although people slowed down a lot, maybe that reflected numb hands, etc..)

If you guys wear something better than jeans you can ride in 40 degree weather fine.

Wear your ski pants or something over your jeans. You'll still be stopping every hour to warm up, but group rides do that anyway since everyone seems to need coffee and cigarrettes.

The highest temp for Sunday looks to be below that. To me, it's just not really fun riding all bundled up.

We'll see, I'm gonna keep an eye out on the temp, but multiple sources are saying the same thing....

I actually went riding today. It was fuggin freezing. I saw 31F on the thermometer, which I believe is a new low for me.

When the wind was blowing I got pretty cold, after sunset it actually got a little better.

I guess it's safe to say that tomorrow's ride is not going to happen....

Oh well, maybe next weekend after this cold front moves through... It'll be my last, for a fortnight from today, the mighty 7R gets shipped to Tampa

I went out for around 2 hours with a stop @ MMKT. I really didn't think it was that bad. Then again...I love winter. And..No I don't have any heated gear either...

I actually saw a few peeps out and about...
This front is hanging around until wed. or so..I might be in for next week..
