Official Rally & Race Week dates have been set! And to coincide with the dates this year, the Stone Crib will once again remain open to members & friends & from June 8th to June 17th, for "Stonnerstock '02"!!!

Once again, we're happy to let people use the yard to camp and fully enjoy the entire week's festivities. And once again, we will ask that everyone bring a little something to contribute to the Annual Feed Bag which is traditionally held on Saturday. This year's date is June 15th. If you can make no other day, THIS is the day you'll wanna try to get up here. This is when the largest gathering takes place up here, and we all get to kick back and enjoy some terrific eats, some sundry beverages, and good times with everyone. I'll get a page up shortly for the sign-up sheet...

And let's not forget our now yearly trip to The Rock Pile, which I will lead once again on Friday, the 14th. This is another wunna those things that you really oughta try to make it for. Last year, we were up there when the highest temps ever recorded for that day were measured. And as last year, we'll try once again to get outta here by 10:00 SHARP Friday morning...

The rest of the week/weekend is up to you. There's a TON of things to do in this area for Rally & Race Week, and you can really enjoy it to it's fullest. In keeping with the tradition, we ask that you let us know when you're coming, how long you'll be staying and how many there'll be. It's important that we know these things, as every year this gets bigger and we need to make sure we have space for everyone this year...

Also, this year we're gonna hafta enforce our tent 'policy' (see Handbook; sec 14; pg. 154; para 2 ). We really need more people to bring tents this year. My oldest daughter will be in her last week of school that week, and it's not fair to her to hafta climb over lifeless bodies while she gets ready to catch the bus. I realize this may put a damper on some peoples' plans, but this is a must. As most of you know, we're really limited on space here and we just don't have anywhere to put ya...

Also new this year hasta do with cages people are bringing up. If parking becomes an issue again this year, we may hafta rethink parking plans. I know how tough it can be to hafta pack for a few days on a sportbike, but our neighbors would be a bit more friendly to us if we could cut down on the cars this year. Again, we realize that for some of you it's a necessary evil...

So that's it, folks! Ya'll know how the rest of it works by now: Be cool, be respectful, don't ruin anybody else's time, and have fun DAMNIT! That's what it's all about anyway, isn't it?

Ok... this is in planning stage for now but me and the missus is thinking of opening our chatteau... We are about 15 minutes from the festivities being held at Stonnerstock. I see that camping will be a must this year, which is totally understandable.

I know that some of you are either girlie-men or have chicks that don't want to camp for the week. (I admit I am one of them) Anyway, please don't let this keep you from attending Stonnerstock 2002! If you are interested in one of the bedrooms please let me know. You will have access to the kitchen and shower, one of the bedrooms has a private bath. You'll need to bring your own food tho... and bring enough to feed me too!

I also see that parking is an issue at Jay's too. Again, if any of you want to park your cage at my place you are more than welcome.

We are planning on taking the week off for festivities at Stonnerstock as well. We may also consider renting a van for the week to shuttle... ummmm, those of us who can't drive, back and forth to our place and Jay's.

The price for all this.... $0! You are more than welcome. The only thing we ask is that you respect our house... and that I get to have a peek at your girl's.... ummm, nevermind!

Okay, for those of you that aren't familiar with how this works...

We take the week of Rally & Race Week off, and basically open our yard up for peeps to set up camp for a night or two or more if they so desire. Once you're set up and here, you come and go as you please. Just respect people and people's shit when you do. You have no set schedule to follow other than what you set for yourself...

We try to make all the ammenities of home available to you. In return, we just ask a coupla minor things so that everyone gets a fair shake. The biggest concern to people who don't know better is use of shower and/or bathrooms. of course you'll use 'em. Just be thoughtfull of all the others that are waiting to use 'em too...

Just because you're camping here doesn't mean our house is off limits. If you're here for a coupla days or more, you'll be suprised at how much time you may spend in the house. This isn't hardcore camping by any stretch. Maybe this is where I should also mention that we live on a lake, and we have both a pedal boat and a 16' Grumman bow rider, also for our enjoyment...

Just respect other people and respect their shit. Be respectful of our neighbors and their property. And most importantly, respect my family's shit. Do that, and this'll keep happening for many years to come. We've been doing this for years now, and we'd like to keep doing this without any regrets. So far, our smiles have just kept getting wider and wider...
