Hey I'm in Bristol during the weekends. We'll have to meet up. The Pub & Restaurant on Norfolk is a good place, near 7, 4 and some others.

Sounds good! Haven't gotten out to the west end of the state on the bike yet. Wanna check out Canton Motorsports anyway.

Grew up in Woodstock... Was just down there last Monday, took rip through Ashford on the way to Stafford Springs, then looped back to 44.... Lots of people here ride down there all the time!

Sure! Maybe we could put a ride together sometime. There's a little loop I've been ridin' that's got some nice turns in it. (only been ridin' a year, so, still a little on the conservative side when it comes to hard, blind turns) Haven't put any mileage or time to it yet .... I just do it! (ok, I'd geuss about 50 to 70 miles of loop).

Brew: It seems we both have a thing for naked sportbikes! (?)

Yeah, I find for most of the riding I do (i.e. under 120) it works just fine. Although there have been a few times when even a small fairing would have been nice. Personally an old fashioned air cooled bike without the clutter looks pretty cool to me naked. Kinda back to basics ya know.

Besides in most street situations the upright position is wayyyy more comfy. But you can still hang in the turns if you what too. Just be prepared to look at tail lights on the straights.

Maybe we could put something together for next weekend.

Twenty years with four on the Duc.

All rice before that. Bought the Duc to slow down......daaa that was a mistake.

Now I want speed again! I learned on those old ninjas that handled like barges(weighed about the same too.). Not like the new ones! High speed wallows where something to get used to....I ''ve had ball shrinkage many times in the past let me tell ya.

I've got the little stubby windsheild on my SV ... It doesn't do alot, just breaks up the air a bit, making it not so "hit in the chest". Highway's a bitch, but, not really what I bought the bike for. If I wanted a highway bike, I'd have bought a cruiser or touring bike. Got my eyes on the Triumph Speed triple now. A bit more of a contender for your Monster.

So far it looks good for me. I also have a growing Honey dew list, but she at least gives in to "the other women".

So I'm not opposed to going east. It would be new roads for me, which sounds great.

Well back to work.

P.s.- I rode an SV once and loved it. In fact I am still considering one for the track.

Well, the Vanilla Bean is at the junction of 244/44/169 in Pomfret. I'm thinkin' maybe you and I can hook up at the exit near my house (exit 72 on I-84), ride to the Bean and hook up with Chad, and take it from there.

Oh, the Bean ( www.vanillabeancafe.com ) is a nice little cafe right at that 3 way junction. Good food, but, expen$ive!

P.S. you're not suppose to be posting links to other sportbikes websites, Mystery and I had the links to our websites removed a while back.

Hey there- I'm in dudley, ma. I ride 197/171/44/244/169 all the time. Blue SV650s. Don't check this board to often though.
Just got back from a huge ODFU ride- about 250 miles today. 20 bikes. It was nice slow-paced ride.
I have to work tomorrow- but I'm out of work at 3 pm.
