I'm highly intrested in it IF it doesnt need a Alpine head unit to work.......Even thought he Stock head in my BMW is Alpine I dont think it'll work like that....
Hows it hook up ???
I'll be seeing ya next week on the "trip"

What year/model bimmer? It should have an 8 wire din (m-bus) cable run to the trunk already. If this exists (or you have the output on your h/u) I think it will.

Even if it doesen't you can get an aftermarket adapter for another 50$ or so*, cheap dosh for a decent changer

EDIT: * - assuming you are saying that you have the OE style headunit in and it appears to have external changer controls..

I gots a 87' 325....The only reasson I knoiw the stock unit I have is a Alpine is casue I had to get the "anti'theft" code..... It's doesn't have controlls on the face of the head for CD control...
But anyhow thanks for the tips...Not really sure what you mean by adapter

It does not need and alpine head unit. I had it in my Honda Civic, the only thing is that I do not have the wire that ran from the HU to the trunk. I left it in the car when I turned it in. The CD changer does work great though. I never had any problems with it. Let me know.
