Hi guys, hope you're all having a great spring.

At long last my bikeless ass (and the rest of me) has stashed aside some cash to buy a bike without making payments on something.

I'm not looking for anything fantastic, since the last season I put about 800 miles total on my Gixxer, but every time a bike rides by me (especially in this weather!) it's drivin' me crazy.

So I'm looking for something around 2-3k. Perhaps an older F2/ZX6/FZR600, etc.

If you know someone selling something halfway decent (obviously I don't expect the world, but not a total shitbox) let me know.

That price is my bottom line. But you could EASILY sell off the race plastic to subsidize the budget...

Thanks Jay, but i'm looking for something I can just ride away. I don't have much time to ride as it is, let alone get your bike back to street readiness.

I'm starting to realize that I gave whoever a pretty fuckin' good deal when I sold my 96 GSXR750 for $2200.

It won't take a helluvalot to get mine street worthy. Put the street plastic on, get some aftermarket directionals, get a headlight, and you're good...

Then ya go and sell the race plastic on Ebay. Badda-BING!

I'm really hoping I can find an F2 in decent shape. $2500 is like the magic number, since i have $3k alotted to the "Chris will never make payments on stuff again" fund. Trying to buy a house and find room in the ol' budget for a couple of toys
