| One pc. leather suit Seems it shrunk. (Just kidding. It was always a little too snug on me to be comfortable.)
It is:
Moto Capriolo brand. I know, never heard of it...neither did I when I bought it. It's designed in Italy, made in Pakistan. However, I can assure you is is truly high quality cowhide leather, not cheap goatskin. Knowing leathers as well as I do, I would put it on the same level of quality as Dainese, Teknic or top-level Joe Rocket.
This is arguably the most uniquely featured one-piece I've ever seen, as though it were intended for a street rider. It is red on the shoulders (front and back), and front of the sleeves. The back of the sleeves is black, perforated. The main sections of the front and back are fully perforated white, legs are solid white. It clashes horribly with my yellow bike! Can't have that, now can I?
The cool thing is...it has pockets! Two zippered slash pockets on the front at the hips. Inside has another chest pocket. Comes with GOOD soft-core armour for the elbow/forearms, shoulders. Needs a back protector (I always used a Teknic, cost me $65.) Pucks included, still virgin.
I wore it for less than 44 miles at NHIS track days (2 separate ones.) I swear I never broke a sweat in them. Never down, mint condition.
I am 5'10" and 205lbs, and the height was perfect in the torso, just too snug on my belly and fat arms. The legs are a touch long for me, so I'd guess they'd fit a 5'10" to 6ft tall person of 165-190 lbs quite nicely. The legs do have "expanding cuts" which did fit my rather chunky calves well. (Ex-bicycle racer legs on me.)

I will be bringing this suit to the 5/27 track day, but not to wear it, to sell it. |
