BA Speakers

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of BA ProSeries 5.5 Speakers. They are brand new and come with the speakers, tweeters and crossovers. They cost $440 if you where to pick them at a retail store

Here is everything on the speakers
5¼" copolymer cone woofer
Cast aluminum woofer basket
1" aluminum dome tweeter
Axis-, flush-, surface-, and angle-mount tweeter mounting kit
System-specific crossovers

I'm interested, but I don't know if there's anywhere to mount the woofer in my regular cab pickup. Any ideas?

You an pick up a truck speaker box for 30 bucks. Or you can mount them under the seat.

I'ts an 89 chevy 1500. Basically the same thing stoneman had up for sale. I'll take a look when I get home tonight, how deep is the woofer? Maybe I can mount up something freaky in the middle of the ceiling or something. I'd rather not throw it under the seat on one side and there's not much room behind the seat. Any other funky ideas. I really shouldn't use the wordds freaky and funky in one post, that kinda sounds weird....

You can also just put them where your door speakers are mount the tweeters in the dash. I can tell you that they sound 20x better then stock speakers.

you can put them in the doors and as well as the tweeters..

As long as they come with all the pieces it should be pretty easy...if you want I can help you out with it...

OK, I'm trying to follow along but i don't know all that much about car audio. I don't have speakers in the doors of my truck so i don't think I could fit them there. My stock speakers are dash and behind the heads both 4 X 6's. Would I want to make cut outs in the doorsor maybe try to make a custom enclusure of some kind? If i were to hook these up would I want to disconnect or replace all of my other speakers?

You can do anything you want with them. Put them in the doors, in a speaker box, in the seats. They will go anywhere. I think for what you want to do a speaker box would be the easiest for you.

we can cut holes in the doors..unless you don't want holes there.

and if they are too deep we can cut some wood and wrap it in carpet..

Do you have the factory radio though? You will need something more powerful..

HESSOGOOD, you could fit those BA speakers in your kick panels pretty easily, if your handy with tinsnips and basic woodworking.
