1983 CJ7 5 speed 4.2l, under 200 miles on the build up.
its basically a new jeep from the ground up with a 1983 vin tag and frame.
lots of custom stuff.

i am in the process of locating the proper jets for the carb still.
and i need to fab a spare tire carrier that will work with the fiberglass tub.

other than that.. she is pretty much ready to be beaten. fully inspected and on the road!

the plate bracket i just got done welding up... it will mount to the warn front bumper.

there is a helluva lot more than 10g's sitting there, i am gonna try putting it on ebay for quite a bit more when i get a few more things done.

Thats how she sits right now... no cleaning or prepping or anything. (she needs a cleaning to be show worthy, damn dust)

Theres no back seats, i took em out and lined the rear end with 1/8" steel diamond plate. then I herculined the whole interior of the tub! I didnt take any pics cause i am using the rear end for spare parts storage right now.

It should be pretty impervious to anything you can dish at it.


You have to see it to really appreciate all the anal detail that has gone into building this thing.


this is where that plate bracket will mount... and yes... thats an AGR superbox2 under there!

Your best bet is to try and post her up on the Jeep boards. The only way your gonna come close to getting money out of it is to sell to someone else who loves jeeps.

my bro in law has an 85 with the all fiberglass body, custom paint, seats, running a mild lift with 33's. he's running a 425 hp small block chevy with a built t400 tranny. i've seen this thing hook up on the pavement and lift the front end off the ground. still with all this you would be hard pressed to get 10 g's. i would def try the jeep boards. good luck. wish i could buy it........

these things are money pits. i am hoping to find a collector that will appreciate all the work sitting on those 31's.

Very sweet looking and it looks like you've done it right.

I doubt I'll ever sell my Jeep, becuase like everyone has said... you can't recoup the costs put into them.

you could also try www.neow.org and www.newjo.org both of which are northeast wheeling groups. You'll get some decent exposure there but be ready to answer all sorts of questions about it. Most of the guys/gals there know their poop.
