You should be able to find a killer bike for that. I've seen a ton of 600RR, that can go for street or race in that range, all done up. Check out www.600rr.net in the for sale section.

I have a customer with an 03/04 R6 Yamaha. It has all the best of every thing, and I built it for them. It even has a one of kind $1800 Penske shock with a CD adjuster from the McLaren F1 team. They want a little more than 5-6k. He'll take $7800, rock bottom price, and it is well worth it. call me for more details.
