This is the same bike that I posted was available in xxdcmast's thread. I have had a lot of bites, but people just keep falling off the face of the earth. So here's the deal:

11k miles
great condition
tires are 1 year old
just changed the oil, filter, sparkplugs

extras: saddle bags, tank bra, bike cover, tank bag.

$1500.00 firm

Here is the order from which I have heard from people:

Court1129 has a friend that is interested. Next we have TimmyDuck, followed by an intoxicated OreoGaborio, and then Moose.

I hate to do this, but the new deal is the first person to show up with $1500 gets the bike. I have tried playing nice and have been trying to follow the order everyone called me but it is entirely unproductive and frustrating.

Man, its seems like everyone is wishy washy. Thanks for looking into it for me OreoGaborio. I thought it was a good deal. I guess I will just hang onto it for now, unless someone comes along and wants it.

I could always wait until June, add $300 to the price, and watch the people beat up each other to buy the bike. I guess it is just to early in the season for people to be really serious about buying a bike yet.

Hey man, i did what i could.... i ragged on his ass for TWO DAYS. and it IS a good deal... i mean, you're not GIVING the thing away, but you're making people a pretty awesome offer.

Post up if you sell it, i'll rub it in his face & make him feel like a dumbass.... it'll be fun, he's my supervisor

i think the timing is just off for him... i'll keep pressing him about it, maybe he'll save up the dough

(btw, i told him to offer you a $1000 cash downpayment w/ the remaining balance upon delivery & he thought about that for a while but didn't think you'd go for it... i told him you would & he almost sent you an email but in the end decided not to )

Honestly man, I would have gone for the layaway deal. Let him know. $1000 now, $500 on delivery works for me. I would rather have a gauranteed sale, than one I have to go fishing for.
