The 01 is almost done....any takers?

01 GSXR600......The motor and plastics will be installed and then i am just waiting for the guage harness and sprocket and chain.and it's done......


Take it as is.(Motor, radiator and plastics will be installed).....$3000

Completed.........$3500

Why is the bike in pieces? Crash?

Is it a Frankenstein? Where did the motor come from?

Anything warm?

How many miles on frame, brakes, and motor?

The bike was bought in 2002 from rider dennis King in PA.

The motor is from a wrecked bike which was an 02 with 600 miles on it.(the original motor is in my race bike now)
Both the frame and motor have numbers and are good. there's no title for the bike though as it was donated to 14K The Movie for filming and promotional purposes, and then ran out of financial backing before being completed. I bought it from Dennis King in PA (the rider for the movie/documentary)....with a bill of sale.

The documented frame swap.






and the reason for the frame swap.....highside into T3 and snapped the rearset mounting ears off on the right side....no time to fix before FUSA/Loudon Classic weekend the following week that year....So i swapped the frame out.....with a spare i had bought prior to the start of the season.

Which has been professionally repaired shortly afterwards.


So...To answer the questions.....Built from spares, all legit, nothing "Warm", most parts bought on Ebay and other race forums with reciepts. Mileage on brakes???......I will include a brand new in the package set of EBC's with the bike. Mileage on frame??.....the frame has not many!
Both of my race bikes have VIN #'s and Motor #'s.............Which is more than i can say for LOTS of others who race at Loudon.
