WTB: mountain bikeAshford, CT. Approx 1 hour from Framingham. I'm 5'7", it's a tad tall for me (when I stand over it, it parts my nuts) and there's some adjustment left in the seat post. Mountain bikes are usually shorter to accomodate ball clearance when off roading |

WTB: mountain bikeThis week, tomorrow works for me. Just so you know, beforehand, there is one slight dent in the frame. Purely cosmetic. Just being honest. She tipped over into a steel post in my basement. |

WTB: mountain bikeI have Thule rack and an adjustable front fork clip, but I am a little unsure if this street bikes forks are going to be too narrow to fit? Anyone know if it should work just the same? If not it will just go in the back of the truck! Pat tomorrow it is... PM me some directions or an Address so I can map it out with MS treets & Maps.. Also what time is good for you. Anytime to be in CT after 4:30 will work with me.. Mike |

Jamie do you still have a road bike or is this the same one Jay is getting? If I do take this Diamond back we should get out to Boston on a Sunday around the Charles! The scenery can be very delightfull! You too Jay meet us in there and we can get excersize from the bike, and excersize our taste buds & eyes!! ![]() |

WTB: mountain bikeJamie, sounds good I am ready to roll anytime! Thanks to Pat I picked up the bike tonight, I just need to do a minor adjustment to the front derailer, give the chain and gears a little lube and replace the battery in the computer, oh yeah and I have to get used to this style shifter!!!! It's set up in my living room on the nicely suplied stationary stand he was so generous to toss in the deal with a resistance drum to add well "resistance" !! No excuses I can ride everyday now! Time to loose some weight! ![]() |

WTB: mountain bikeSounds good. I will go over and pick up the bike tomorrow and set it up. I plan on getting out for a little ride this weekend. I really want to get my chain and spockets installed on the bike though but Saturday does not look that good right now. My basic plan is going to be to try and ride (bicycle) a couple of nights a week. Probably 20 miles or so to start. How does that sound to you? Jamie |

I think? Any night of the week except Tuesdays! This Sunday prior to the Party? Maybe I can bring a change of clothes and ask to use Pets shower and change there after a ride.. We can loop around Mem drive and circle the charles and wherever else... 20 miles for my first ride on a road bike? I dont know? I'll try! Hey were can I buy good riding shorts, and gear like those wicking shirts and riding shoe's? I have the older style shoe clips, not the locking style.. I may just use some sneakers I have already.. |

WTB: mountain bikeI do most of my shopping online for clothing and all other gear. There are plenty of sites to look at like pricepoint , nashbar , universal cycles , jenson and there are many others but I can't think of them now. Check out mtbr for sure, they have some of them on that site. If you want stuff quickly, try Bicycle Alley in Worcester or Landry's in Westborough. Some of the local stores like REI have stuff as well and usually have decent sales on it. Jamie |
