gauging interest ( GUNS)

I've got a ruger P89DC 9mm, two 10rnd clips and some ammo and a special edition taurus PT940 .40 S&W PISTOL WITH GOLD ACCENTS & MOTHER OF PEARL GRIPS. Still have all the original boxs and paperwork. Guns are in perfect shape.

any interest or offers? i'm considering getting rid of them since I have no time to shoot. May come with a few boxes of ammo, a nice shoulder rig, ear protection, cleaning stuff...whatever I got.

Prices I see on gunbroker are
ruger $360.00
taurus $479.00

and their prices are usually really cheap.

The whole package I think I'd let go for $700/bo with all the extras. i really hate to sell it but no time to play with 'em.

You might need to check if the ruger is legal in MA since it doesn't have a visual saftey.

According to the bluebook of gun values these prices are right in line. I have 2 taurus's ( a PT45 and a PT 908) they are great guns and have a lifetime repair policy. Plus they are in the United States ( Florida )

I was going to consider them , but since I just spent money on 3 guns and a few thousand rounds of ammo and some folding stocks, I thought I would save a little money again, so I can buy more It's a sickness and the only cure is more.

If they are registered in Ma. already your all set. Just need to have a dealer do the transfer.

Should be OK on the Ruger in Ma. the P89D is on the approved roster, the C is probably for chrome finish. I believe your out of luck on the Taurus though, unless it was registered in Ma. at some point of it's life and you can prove it.

I'm not sure if you have that backwards? The DC is for decocker, meaning the gun does not have a physical saftey on it, un;ike the taurus. The physical saftey is one of the things that's required in ma. I can't think of anything that would exclude the taurus.

Pretty much. Gun laws in florida are very relaxed. In mass you can't get in serious shit for shooting someone when they break into your house, and in Florida you can kill people for talking too loud on their cell phones.

I just checked the approved roster for MA.:
http://www.mass.gov/Eeops/docs/chsb/...06_revised.pdf
The Sturm and Ruger P89D is on it, but not the DC so it may not be legal. The Taurus may have everything needed but if the company hasn't sent the state samples to test they aren't approved, as you can see there are no Taurus firearms at all on the approved list, which is BS. MA. SUCKS! I paid a premium for my last handgun because it was preban and in the stste, I should just move to NH!

That Taurus is fuckin' sweet! And I used to have a P89DC. Great 'clunker' type handgun that can literally take a beating. I think I still have summa them now illegal teflon hollow points for it. I'll try to dig 'em up if'n anybody wants 'em...

I still have one of those P89's. A beater gun would describe it nicely. Not one of the better ones out there but its a cheap shooter.

Not illegal in the sense that you can't own them just that they are too deadly. What caliber? I like them I can put them with the rest I have. Black Talons? Rangers?

If they're for a P89, wouldn't they be 9mm?

I was under the impression that they were now illegal to SELL, at least in NH. Is that incorrect?

not even close!

it doesn't matter where you are.

you can neutralize ANY threat of immediate and otherwise unavoidable danger of death or grave bodily harm.

it all comes down to ability, opportunity and jeopardy.

unless your in tx, in which case you can still neutralize anyone stealing your property.

I hear lots of differing stories on weather they are illegal or not , but I can buy them online and at local shops when they have them. I have been told if I use them for self defense they would look at it as intent to kill because they are "too deadly". I guess a .45 hollow point is less deadly then a Black talon
