SV/Gixxer Shock

Looking to get rid of this rear shock. I believe it's from a 01 Gixxer 750. $20

It should, it was bought for that reason. I'm not exactly sure which year Gixxer it came off of, but it was bought through Svrider to replace the back shock.

It looks just like the one I took off my '01 GSXR 600 if that helps.

Pun, thanks for the reply. I don't suppose there were any markings on the shock when you took it off? I was hoping there might be some way I could verify which year it came from.

yeah, a definate year would be nice because after researching it, it seems that post 99 is a bad idea.. it actually lowers the rear end.

thanks again pun. either i'm retarded or there's absolutely no markings on it. I just spent 15 mins looking at it and i can't find anything. Those numbers wouldn't happen to be located in between the compression adjustment and the top of the spring on the back side of the shock?

IF That's the case, I have a set of short(er) shock links (dogbones) to bring it back to where ever you had it before.

I am making a batch for a couple of SV owners in Boston area.

I found the numbers in the area circled in red. Sorry for the low quality resize...my school is blocking me from photobucket at the moment.
