RC51 SP-1 Micron Highmount Exhuast

High mount Carbon fiber finish High Mount Micron Exhuast. Very good condition! Only one small crack in the Carbon shell on the right side pipe about 1-1/4 long. Crack is in the outer shell only, the can does not leak at all, I took the pipe apart when I bought it and the inner of the canister is perfect! What you see on the pipes is burns for my boots, this will come off I just haven't had the time to invest in my baby, not even to ride her as much as I ussually do.

Take this nice set up with everything you need for an easy installation in about 45 minutes at the most! Only thing you will need is two exhaust stainless steel pipe clamps for where the mids mate up to the stock header pipes. Exhaust is not designed to have these, but I found it holds the pipes a lot stronger minimizing the ussual RC51 pipe wobble...

NESR Price only! $300 if you pick these up, shipping costs are extra. I already have a box these will fit in nicely!

These will be posted on Speedzilla also! & will most likely go fast!

I already have a Moriwaki set which is going back on! I finally got a new mid pipe and new pipe clamps for them..

Now I just need to find another used set of Mori's for track days, that is if I ever get a chance to do one this year... I dont want to damage my Mori's if I have a get off on the track....

Oh yeah so I should say or trade + $ for a used set of high mounts (Almost any brand) for track days that do not have to be pretty but work and without leaks!

That was for the Microns, thats where the lower stainless clamps come into play. Does the trick perfectly and looks professionally done, works and looks like a factory job! Only issue is the stainless clamps I used are a set I had from my stock exhuast, but do not have spares to let go with this set up.

Aren't you the guy buying everything under the sun these days? You just need to work a little over time, not much to afford these.

The spending spree is stopping. I need to start looking for a new home and would like a lot of $ for furnishings and appliances if needed. I would like to be in a new townhouse or larger condo within the next year.. Keep an eye of Finance rates buddy!

Re: RC51 SP-1 Micron Highmount Exhuast

Are these sold yet? I am very interested. Send me an email. cialowicz@gmail.com. I can come get them sometime next week. I have a set of rainbow Mori high mounts on my bike currently - one of the cans is a bit scratched up. I've been looking for black or silver high mounts for the SP1 because I'm eventually looking to repaint the bike.

Cheers,
Mike

It's the right side can that's a little scratched. I have a few pictures here and here. Let me know if you're up for a trade; I'm also willing to spend the $300.

Send me an email with your contact info and I'll call you tomorrow. I live in Amherst, but I'll be in the Framingham area on Sunday.

I didn't put the Moriwakis on my bike, so I'm not at all familiar with the system. I have to bring both the upper and lower pipes, right? On the Micron system it all looks like one piece.

I have but two concers - the first being foot clearance. I need to be able to position my foor properly on the peg (toes on the tip) so my feet don't scrape at full lean. It looks like with the Micron that might be a slight problem. What's your experience? Are you getting rid of them because they suck in this respect (or any other)? My other concern is finding a map for the PCIIIr. Do you have one?

Also, how do they sound compared to the Moris?

Thanks,
Mike

To be completely honest I am getting rid of these because of the foot position. I have size 13 and I can not get comfortable with this set up. You may not have a problem? I can leeve them on until you can sit on it and try it out if you like.
This is a two piece system just like the Mori's. These are more sturdy to the bike then the Mori's, as in they are more solid and don't bounce around. The Mori's you can never really get tight enough not too have them shaking and people telling you all the time your pipes are loose.... ( I know, it's just that way! )

And these have a deeper more throaty sound then the Mori's! Very intimidating sound! I love it!!! I can only be available for a short amount of time Sunday, I am mountain biking in the AM and will be heading into Boston for the Moto GP races around 2.

Let me know. & I can E-mail you my #.

Crap. Well, it's worth a shot. I've got pretty small feet (size 10), so it's worth a try. How long does it take to get them off the bike? I could meet you Sun morning, try the fit, and then if everything is kocher you could take them off the bike and do the swap.

-Mike.

I would have to take the tail section and seat off also, but maybe 1/2 hour at the very most... I say 15 minutes not including bullshitting!
