FS: 1997 Honda CBR600 F3 - SOLD!

SOLD!

New price $2800

http://boston.craigslist.org/mcy/188349112.html

Due to financial reasons I gotta sell it. I'm putting up on NESR before anywhere else as I'd rather give someone the chance here to buy it first.

Bike runs like a top.. no problems. A few scuffs on the bodywork and small dent in tank from it being tipped on both sides from previous owner. Not visable with bra on. No lowsides or accidents.

Mileage - reads 15k but really should be under 12k because of Vortex rear sprocket

Tires are Pilot Powers with plenty of meat.. only about 2000 miles or so on them.

Other stuff.. zero gravity double bubble windscreen and Yoshi can.

Bike has always been garaged. Located in Lynn.

No cash, no test rides.

$2800

PM me or email me at jpbumpus at hotmail dot com

What kind of bike you got? We might be able to make this a win-win situation. (I'm looking for a starter bike)

I'm dead serious.. I'll hopefully have a bike again next year. I want to buy a house soon and could use the extra money. As a homeowner.. you gotta understand. After we get a house, I'll get a bike again. It sucks, but that's life.

Do what I do. Buy 5 bikes. Then you can sell one to get a house and still have 4 left!

BULLSHIT dude ask your girl to sel her shoe collection then. If you need 3000 that bad to buy a house you probably ought to re-evaluta the whole thing. Once you sell it to buy said house it will be years before your back on.

Good luck brotha.

really guys.. wish it was as simple as i need an extra 3 grand for a house, but it's more like money owed. don't really want to get into it much more than that. i will have another bike, but unfortunately i screwed up and need to take care of more important things first.

bumpus racked up a gambling debt down to the white shirt/white ties at the casino....the leg breakers are coming and he's gotta put that money together or sleep with the fishes.

Slightly above what I want to pay for a starter bike... and I think by the time I arrange the funds, it will be sold. Guess we'll see.

A slight grand...

I'd love to help you out, it's just not in the cards for me at this particular moment. Maybe a few weeks from now, I'll be in a better position. Until then, I'll keep this in mind. Good luck with the sale. (If I don't get to buy it, it was never meant to be!)

A responsible person could handle this as a starter bike. Although it will not be as forgiving as a 500ex or gs500, it is not quite as harsh as the new 600cc. It is still a more than capable bike and many will tell you it is still too much for a new rider.

you'll find something out there in your price range. as for the F3, it's going up on craiglist next week.. and maybe ebay if necessary.
