Heh, did you hear that they're being recalled? No surprise there reallly. Supposedly they've been responsible for 39 injuries and 2 deaths so far this year...

Seem to be going on Ebay for about $250. Part of me really wants to get one as they look like great fun, the other part really doesn't want to be responsible for the death or dismemberment of any immediate family and friends

Oh yeah, I knew they'd been recalled.

Neat idea, poor execution. They have no stability at all and when they flip, it's like the worlds worst highside, minus the pavement landing.

Some folks have sewn two tow points onto the sides and use two tow lines, from each side of the boat. Apparently, this makes them very stable. Why the manufacturer did not do this is beyond me. In my opinion, just getting airborn behind the boat would be a blast, even without the threat of death.

That guy is at least 30 feet in the air and moving at 35+ MPH. Can you imagine the pain of landing? It hurts just to fall from upright AT the water's surface at 35MPH; I cannot imagine dropping 30 feet first. The ride up has to rock though.

Hilarious Pic! Almost sharted my pants when I saw it! Probably what the riders do when they fall form 35 feet in the air onto cement-like water.
