Yes, the first one was mounted and tested before the first one was shipped. I make a lot of TL parts and they all mount and work perfectly.

It reuses the stock 98-03 oring on the case mounting surface.
97S needs to upgrade to a 98+ oring. All stock case mounting bolts are reused. A new oil filler plug is included. Its 5 minute install on the sidestand, no oil is even lost puuling the old cover off.

I was looking at a new sv1000S at the dealer and the clutch cover is totally different.

I'm not sure if the original SV1K had the TL type covers, I'll have to go back and look at the fiche.

The TL-R is an '...over the winter...' thing for me. If they're still around I'll be ordering me up one...

What other bling you got for the TL-R?

I hear ya. I've always got toooooo much shit going on during 'the season' to sink ANYTHING into the bike. Thus, I make all my bike purchases during the winter months when not so much shit is going on. If I lose, I lose I guess...

Looks like they were always diiferent than the TL.

Someone asked me to make them for the early SV650, but it seems hard to find enough people for that, even though there are 1 million SV's out there.

I understand, I only make enough, that I can sell quickly, I can't afford to fill the living room with parts. Who knows maybe one will be here.

Boy! That would suck then if a red one accidentally slipped under the couch, only to mysteriously resurface in January...

PRESSURE PLATE

After you have my cover, then you will want the pressure plate and spring retainers, so you have something to look at.

Hell yeah. Be a terrible shame if both those items happened to slip under the couch or workshop bench, wouldn't it?
