2001 drz 400 supermotard $4000

The time has come to make some room in the garage, so my DRZ has got to go. This bike has been very good to me, and I would really like to find it a good home. It has been to the track a bunch so some of you will definitely recognise it.

It started life as a 2001 drz electric start dirtbike. It's current specs are.
450c yoshimura stroker motor
yoshimura cams
yoshimura ignition box
ported/polished big valve head
Vortex air box
full Ti Yoshimura exhaust
rm250 forks
Ohlins Shock
Suspension revalved by Elka Suspension
modified swingarm w/ sportbike style chain adjusters
beringer 6 piston brakes
brembo radial master cylinder
17" wheels morad rims with excel hubs
tires
Black bodywork
cf fender
custom aluminum tank
Baja Designs Light kit

For spares I have a ton of stuff
A spare stock motor it is from a dirtbike and has the higher compression base gasket.
A spare frame
A five gallon bucket with misc hardware, a second wiring harness, and ignition.

I would like to sell it this week so I have dropped my asking price from $5000 to $4000. I have done a bunch of trackdays on this bike and it has always been super reliable and a lot of fun. I will be a little sad to see it go, but I have something very cool lined up to replace it. I will post pics tomorrow.

it is and isnt...... its all stock and streetable.. but.. it has a salvage title. getting it a clean is pretty easy, but if i can sell it as is that would be good. if i have to spend timeand $$ to get it clean then ill want more $$ for it.

What do you want for it? The person I know wouldn't mind a salvage title or fixing it themselves.

unfortunately the motor in the bike seized yesterday at the track. I will be rebuilding it and reposting it for sale. If anyone is interested in being kept up to date please pm me.

I saw you at the track as well, but you seemed quite busy with all your toys, as well as the one that blew up. What did the oil-light issue on the Aprilia turn out to be?

I am not sure what happened. I would rather have the dealer diagnose it seeing as it is so new. It is going back tomorrow.

I may not be able to make it to the 9/20 trackday. I start school on the 13th so I will have to wait and see. Hopefully I will see you there.
