2000 Triumph Sprint RS

This bike rocks, and I dont really need to sell it, but I havent had a chance to ride it much this year, and with my wife 7 months pregnant, I dont see much more time becoming available any time in the near future.

Basically, this is a mechanically excellent 2000 Triumph Sprint RS. It has just a hair under 40k on the clock, but thats really not much in the way of miles on one of these things. I wouldn't hesitate to ride this bike to California, tomorrow.

The bike is a VT salvage title, and is currently registered. Shouldn't be any BS with your local DMV, to the best of my knowledge. Cosmetically, it looks pretty good, but if you're picky, it has some scrapes and dings here and there.

If you've never ridden one of these, you're missing out. The 955 triple is a blast, it makes good power *everywhere*. The bike is comfortable on 400+ mile days, and has a perfect suspension set up (IMO) for sport touring.

This particular bike just had a valve adjustment, new Pirelli tires (about 1k on the tires), new front rotors and pads, and a fresh oil chane with the proper, overpriced Triumph oil.

I have about $3,200 in this bike; will let it go to an NESR member for $2,500.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of the sprint.. I have ridden that very bike(long story) But own a 2002 of my own. I have put many 2 up miles and many solo miles as well, it is a very capable sport bike. It is an in line tripple 955cc with pleanty of tourque, once you find the proper gear for the road you are on, you really don't need to brake, just roll on and off the gas.

$2500 seems like a steal.....................
