Alright people, just throwing this out there.
If anyone is looking for or would be interested in a 1992 VW GTI (8valve) to have some fun with, let me know....it may or may not need work.
Also, if anyone here is into R/C flying as well as bikes (not sure if it's possible to afford both), and want some helicopter stuff....i've got no where to keep my stuff anymore so i'd be looking to sell that too.

Well it came from an abusive, broken home where no one treated it with the respect it deserved...and it's said that the man-ape monster who drove it called it names on a pretty regular basis. VW
Basically right now it'd be a good project car. I'm not gonna rip anyone here off....it needs work to pass inspection (front pads and rotors, fix some holes in the floor, gas tank strap and sounds like the axel's about to go....so shit).

The stuff you mention it needing is all pretty simple to fix, if you want some help fixing it. The axle and brakes are a quickie job, maybe an afternoon? I can't imagine it has any huge holes in the floor, as it passed inspection last year.

I wouldn't be inclined to mess with the gas tank strap, though, I always get bathed in gasoline.

My sister just got her license, I'll tell her she should buy it.

Well, the hole in the floor may or may not be from my dad trying to pull me out of a ditch on pond road with his truck....haha, yeah. And brakes and axel and lights and strap and exhaust...plus the fact that it's got 210k makes me wonder if it's really worth it to fix...(i mean, people should buy this car, great shape!)

Put it on e-bay. Volkswagen guys go nuts for a red GTI in decent shape, you'll probably get close to what you paid for it. If I had the money to spare right now, I'd buy it back for a toy.

Unless you want to work a trade for a Mercedes.....
