All,

seeking interest in my little e30, it's been great to me, I just need something different to fit my needs right now.

enough BS, here are the details:

-1990 325i sedan, bronzit on tan interior (non-sport).
-original motor and transmission
-207,xxx miles.

upgrades:
-eibach springs
-bilstein sports
-eibach sways (F+R)
-3.73 LSD (~120K mi)
-TMS brake kit (cross drilled, SS lines, etc)
-bavauto intake (not really an upgrade)
-borbet 15" w/ michelin winters (less than 2000mi)
-borbet 15"x7" type C (never mounted, came with car)

-I also have all the req'd parts to do a complete timing belt/waterpump job.


pros:
car is very reliable, never had it breakdown or not start. Car gets 26mpg on my commute. Idles good, and cold start injector works fine.
It handles great, brakes are very strong. Transmission does not grind. diff doesn't whine, new fluids in both. car drives true @ WOT and full brake.
never been tracked, auto-x'ed once last june.
Interior is pretty mint, carpets are all newer, dash is intact and complete. All controls work, glove box is intact. Seat belts all work. manual sunroof is functional, car has a sunroof visor.
car has been resprayed at least once.
I have a BIG folder with a lot of maintenance records.

cons:
transmission has the known input shaft rattle and the shifter has some play. LSD "sticks" sometimes on rainy days. got backed into front pass side fender (pickup hit headlight just above bumper), I replaced headlight bucket and beams, I have a replacement fender but not installed.
The car has been in NE most of it's life, so the hood and fenders are a bit "cancerous". You can't see any rust from 10ft away. The bottom of the doors are the worse. sunroof started to bubble over the fall/winter. sunroof handle/crank is broken, but is still operable. The high beams sealed, just gave out a couple weeks back. low beams are hella replacement (new from TMS).

I think that should cover most of it. I'll have pictures to illustrate this tonight.

I am being realistic about this car. But my Asking price is $2,000 OBO.
I am willing to negotiate some. But I love this car, but I need something a more practical if only the e30 touring was available here.

oh man... i love E30's. Miss 325

These are fun little cars & that sounds like a pretty good deal. Put some snows on them & they make great winter cars despite RWD, especially w/ a LSD cuz they're so well balanced.

the car is already equiped with michelin snowtires!! I drove it through the recent snow storm we had. I had no issues at all.
