My friend wants to sell his 2001 Ducati 996, so I am posting the info here for him
2001 Red Ducati 996
7,900 miles
All service done with receipts (Riverside Ducati I believe)
New battery this year
Ohlins rear shock with the nice 5 spoke rear rim
This is a biposto (2 seater), but he bought the bike from the original owner stating it was a mono and he put on the 2 seater tail.
Akrapovic exhaust (half system I believe)
Also has a nice after market clutch cover and after market clutch basket. I've seen the bike but didn't look at it to buy so I didn't pay close attention.
My friend (John) bought the bike last summer and put under 1,000 miles on it.
He's not really into riding as much as most of us are on this forum.
The bike does have a rear stand for the single sided swingarm as well.
The bike looks nice and runs great.
John (the owner) is willing to take around $6,900 and you can ask for pics from him directly. The bike is garaged in Charlestown.
Shoot me a PM if interested.

I have had some people PM me about my buddy's bike and I just found out this weekend he is in the middle of straightening out an error in the title.
The previous owner checked off the box indicating the bike has over 100K miles....so the title reads 107,900 miles instead of 7,900 miles.
Anyways this is a legit error and the previous owner is having some document notarized.
This could take some time to resolve though. I was unaware of this until yesterday. The bike is for sale, but a new revised title needs to be sent out by the registry.
This is a clean Mass title, no salvage.
Just providing the info

It's not a big deal to get that fixed... it happend to me before.
You just have to have a letter stating that the box was checked in error, and then get that letter notarized.
