Don't turn down a trailer with the barn doors if you find a good deal. The hight of the trailer is so low that the push up the ramp is nothing. Just my $.02

Thank very much for the link. Looks nice, but the price seems high. Im actually getting quotes new on the haulmarks for roughly that price. Its going to take some research to figure out what makes the price what it is....

Agreed. I had barn doors for years and it was no problem.

I put a couple of U brackets on the wall and stored my ramp there. As mentioned, only one, fairly short ramp is needed since trailers are so low.

The benefit of the barn doors is that you can leave them open and "work" out of the back of the trailer without taking up as much room as a ramp.

I purposely purchased a ramp door for my current trailer because I envision getting another Goldwing or other large bike again. I was able to use my old trailer with the 'wing, but getting that beast up and down a 10 inch ramp wasn't fun.

For regular bikes though, it really doesn't matter. However, I do believe a side door is necessary. Too many times there are bikes in the back and you need to get into the front area. It's a hassle to open the back and step over tie downs, etc.

just an fyi, here is a pic of a 5x9 US Cargo with one bike in it. 2 fit (both are in it now) just be aware of GVW and tow rate of vehicle pulling
