Feeler- 1994 Suzuki RF-900

*Bump* Everything has been fixed and the bike has been repainted. Anyone looking for a sport tourer?

I dont really want to sell this bike, but i dont really ride it enough anymore to justify keeping it and i feel bad letting it sit.

The good-
TL-1000 Fork with nitrided lowers, GSXR Swingarm, vortex triple clamp, corbin seat, digital spedometer, vance & hines power pack ignition control (16 selectible maps), carbs recently gone through with new emulsion tubes, chain and sprockets within 500 miles, newer pilot power tires, stainless brake lines front and rear, stainless clutch line, vance & hines pipe, and a carbon fiber front fender. Theres probably more that i forgot.

Bike runs great, has tons and tons of midrange power. Very comfortable too, you can sit on this all day with no complaints. I loved riding this bike, but since i bought a supermoto its barely left the garage. I've also got lots of spares for the bike including a set of forks (dissasembeled), seat, rotors, and a box full of odds and ends. I'll throw in a set of stands too. Looking for $3000ish, I know thats a lot compared to what a stock rf is worth, but this one is noway comparable to a stock bike. If anyone has any interest as all let me know. Attached is a picture from when the paint was still nice and one of how it sits now.

Q
It gets around 40 mpg last i remember, and the tank is rated at 5.5 gallons, so in theory 220 miles before you run dry. I never tried to find the limit though. It does have a gas light that comes on and reserve on the petcock to warn you though.

Even pounding on the RF, you'll still easily see 200 miles before you need to start watching for a station. Great friggin' bike, wish I never wadded mine...

Thanks. I think i know what it needs, just gotta get some motivation to work on it again. I've already been through the top end, putting v4 heads and cams back together = not a good time.

Hamburgler,

We need to talk about that swingarm mod. Curious what you are running for bars too. I have a similar RF setup.

I soooo miss my RF900. I'd be incredibly tempted to jump on this thing if you weren't asking so much. Fuck, I still have a COMPLETE stock exhaust for that thing. Only has like, 1000 miles or some shit on it!
