a friend was at the Ducati/Triumph dealership looking at them. He's really in no rush to buy, as he wants to get his permit and take the MSF first this summer, but he's got an eye out for a good deal.

Likes the feel of the Ducati Monster 6-something and seems to have a really good head on his shoulders, i'd just hate to see him get something brand new as a first bike.

open to other suggestions as well, he's geared more towards european bikes i think.

just an FYI, since the new monster is coming out soon i'd suggest you have your buddy wait til that comes out. At riverside i believe we already have a decent amount of current monster owners who are waiting for the new body style to come out which means you friend can possibly get an older monster for a smoking deal.

If i do hear of anything i'll let you know though, i'll give the guys in sales a heads up to let me know if they come across anything.

yea duey his name is darren and he was in there yesterday. lol some people might remember at the bettencourts thing when i talked to him because his roommate called me all worried that he was gonna come home with a busa

he likes the feel & fit of the moster a lot, but personally i'd hate to see him fork out all this dough for a brand new ducati and then drop it at a stoplight lol.

i've let him know how well I've been treated over there by everybody: sales, parts, service, etc, and he said he was treated well there yesterday as well. if you guys find something i'm sure he'll buy from you. if you guys get a used monster in definitely let me know and i'll tell him to jump on it asap.

There is a cherry 200 750 at Moto Milano in Windham ME, high milage (54k) but the machine looks to have been VERY well taken care of, very clean. I drooled on it yesterday while looking for a monster for a friend of mine. His budget is a bit lower though so he had to pass.

ideally in the 4k range. we've seen some deals at 4k or a little more, but the've gona fast and he was sort of casually looking. now with license and money in hand i'm sure he'll want to get on something asap.
