WTB: Pit bike 80cc to 125cc

Anyone have a pit bike you want to sell?

Photo and asking price would be helpfull. I'll be in garage North 16 by this Saturday morning or maybe even late friday night. Ideal bike would have big wheels and be a name brand. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc.. No Chineeeezz crap.

Clutchless bikes are cool too. In fact they're prefered for the reason below.

i might be willing to part with mine. 107cc. i don't know what it's worth. i know it doesn't fit your criteria of being name brand but figured i'd throw it out there because it would be a cheaper alternative. it's hardly broken in with significantly less than 10 hours on it. it came with two pocket bikes. the guy bought it with intentions of giving it to his nephew but the mother wouldn't allow it. i sold the pocket bikes so this practically was a free present. it's a fun little shit with a louder exhaust than the r6. i brought it to the TTD in june but didn't really have a chance to ride it between sessions.

'04 xtreme cr107 pit bike
- k&n intake
- upgraded carb
- performance exhaust
- dunlap tires

Thanks for the offer, but small wheels, not easy to get parts and has a clutch. Sorry to sound picky, but I'm less than 2 handed right now.

Possibly. What kind of work does it need? Pics? How much?

Actually, the 107s are cake to get parts for, you can source Honda for 99.9% of the motor, and what isn't a direct swap is an upgrade. Xtreme is really good about supporting their bikes as well, so I wouldn't worry about keepng one going.

That doesn't address the wheel size and clutch though.

1.) I unhooked the clutch cable and took the old friction plates and steel plates out to replace the clutch, but when I put the new ones in, I couldn't quite get it to disengage...I don't know if I stacked them wrong or if I don't have the cable hooked up properly...the you would experience it on the bike, is as if the clutch cable was broken: if the bike is in gear, the clutch is properly engaged and doesn't slip, but there's no resistance on the clutch lever so you can't disengage it.

2.) impatient with the status of the clutch, I slowly test rode it without the clutch cable hooked up, and now it's stuck in first gear and I found a spring floating in the crankcase...this may be remedied with a proper assembly of the clutch, or replacement of said spring in the appropriate place; I haven't had the time nor patience to figure it out

I was hoping to take a proper shot at fixing those issues, but I'm going back to grad school in the fall and won't have time. I'm not sure what it's worth, so make me an offer

edit: by the way, it's a 2000 XR80R, NOT a '96
