Need a 520 110 link chain so I can ride this weekend. Anybody got one laying around $$$$$?

Sweet....you going on the ride Sun? If you do have something maybe I can arrange a meeting place tomorrow (you in NH right??). Actually I will be in Epping on Sat as well...IHRA is there this weekend.

Yeah I'm in NH, not too far from epping.

...If the chain is too small, can't you just slide the wheel forward a few mm? I dunno much about chains...

The stock chain is a 525x110links. I changed it to 520x108 with a 1 down from stock 14T front and a stock 43T rear (same teeth and chain as when I bought it just in 525). I couldn't find a 43T steel rear to fit my bike and the local bike shop could only get a 45T steel rear. The aluminum one I had on there didn't hold up at all. So anyways I can get the chain on the sprocket but can't slide the wheel back enough with the 108link chain to put the rear axle back in to the slots. So I need a 110link 520 chain or a 42-43-or 44T 520 rear that will fit a ZX7R. So I can ride my bike again before snow flies. Most companies told me I had a 2 week wait to get a "quality" aluminum sprocket from them which ranged from the state to the west coast. Nobody had anything, I did order one and went to put it on at Stonnerstock and found out they sent the wrong one (it was a 530 43T) so whatever. Then Last week I noticed I was missing more teeth than I had so I called around and all I could get within a week was the 45T 520 rear. And even better the place traded me straight for the 530 I already had. So I go to put it on and that is where I am now. Kinda PO-ED at alot right now so I figured if someone had a chain laying around I could atleast ride with some buds this weekend seeing how I have been down for a week already. Blah-blah-blah.....As you can see I am really out of wack because I never type this much. So let me know what you can do...and TY for the reply.

It's a 120...I got it used, dunno if there were any links taken out?

Edit: I counted the links, there's 109 without the master link, 110 with.

JJ, I have a 520 racing chain (EK gold with a master link) on my race bike. 2 race weekends on it. My mechanic wants me to go with a rivet DID ERV2 chain so you can take my chain if you want. Retails at about $120. I'll let you have it for $50. It isn't stretched or damaged in any way and has about 100 miles on it. Let me know if you are interested and you can pick it up tonight. I'm not sure how many links on it but I believe it has 110. I can check if you are interested.

Just checked the chain on my way home from work. It's a 108 link. I'm guessing it won't work for you??

BTW, you must be using some seriously big sprocket to need a 110, my racebike is 6 teeth over on the rear and 108 is enough for that!!

Actually stock is 110link 15-43 525. I converted to 520 and was 1 down (14) on the front tooth. I had a 43 aluminum rear (POS) and all I could find was a 45 tooth steel rear. The 108link chain makes the rear axle like a 1/4" from fitting.

Sucks, I don't even have a sprocket for that bike that I could lend you. I had about 5 of them(43-48) when I raced a ZX7R but I sold them all with the race Kwak.
