1981 Chevy C-30 (1 ton) extended wheel base with dual rear wheels and ambulance box. 454 V8, runs very strong, 700R4 overdrive transmission (probably will need a rebuild soon but works ok) Tons of new parts, rebuilt 160 amp altenator, new battery, radiator, belts, hoses, cap/rotor/wires, 6 new tires, new brakes/rotors/callipers/lines, new windshield and the rubber gasket, new carpet, inside is pretty clean for it's age. Dana 80 rear end with 4.56 locking axle. Runs and rides nice for a 9600gvw vehicle.
The ambulance box i fixxed up to double as a transport the toys vehicle and a camper. I insulated it and put up all new panneling on the walls and ceiling. Black checkered tile floor (the cheep stuff). Full hight side door with step, double rear doors with a 50" opening, 7 windows including the ones in the doors.
The body is solid, floors are perfect, body mounts are perfect, rockers and cab corners are perfect. It needs some fresh paint but i lost intrest and funds to finish it. I can take pictures and send them to anyone who may be interested.
I'm tempted to just part the thing out as that'll probably bring the most cash but i don't have the time to mess with the thing. $2,750 obo

Stonner, i'm selling it because i don't have the time to do what i want to it, plus a nice small enclosed trailer will almost serve the same purpase as the truck

I was offered $1500 just for the complete motor and $1000 for the Dana 80 rear end. I'll take $2500, not a dime less I simply don't have the time to take it apart and part it out. There's no title law in Rhode island for vehicles over 10 years old so there is no title. It does have a current Rhode Island registration in my name that will serve as a vehicle title.

Still for sale I need to sell it before i can get an enclosed trailer (which i want before the next race weekend) so it's gotta go. If i still have it in a week or 2, i'm parting it out. The motor and rear end are spoken for if i go this route, but will have other parts available if someone needs/wants them.

Yep, some older guy just left me a pretty good deposit, and yes, as a whole vehicle. I'm glad it's going as it takes up alot of space but i'll kinda miss the use of it

Well, the "old" truck will tug the trailer to one more race weekend, then yes, i'll be relying on the new GMC to tug the trailer in future. I should pass everything but a gas station with 496 cubes of Vortec power

Yup, 8.1L with the Allison 1000 5sp auto transmission, it should be in sometime in the middle of June
I'm used to driving gas hogs so getting 12mpg doesn't really bother me
