What kind of longevity/reliability do thesd have as a streetbike? you said it has 2500 miles on it, how long till it needs a rebuild?

From talking with Mike @ Wagner's (the lead tech there), they don't need much of anything except checking the tensioner @ 7k miles. The SM610 is heavier than a SMR because it's built to be beefy and more reliable.

Also valve services are a sinch.

FYI, I have a 01 KTM Duke II its a LC4 640cc single... it has 14,250 miles on it... and its a hoot! Runs strong.... so I am sure Scottie's Husky will go along ways before needing a rebuild.
