Yeah, I can vouch that this bike is pretty awesome. It is slow compared to a modern 600cc sportbike, but handles like a dream. Turn 3 at NHMS never felt better with this bike! Go racing with this bike in the right class and you get a race ready, gorgeous looking, one of a kind bike.. Has an older aprilia body work which looks awesome. Single sided swing arm, GSXR front forks. I believe Ohlins rear shock and reworked front fork setup for 185lbs. I'd be all over this bike if I didn't already have 3 bikes and a house.
It is sexy...just saying.

Only thing that has changed is better tires (Almost new Pirellis ) and Bike was set up for Jane by Kates, It would defiantly make someone a great bike, plus there is a box of spares and some other stuff, it is a press the start button and go have fun bike.

How much does Jane weigh? Cause you know I'm lightweight!
- - - Updated - - -
Ultralight weight lol
Sav, you should just buy this bike and stop with the excuses of not being able to race... Buy it, ride it & then worry about changing the suspension. Chances are it is fine as it sits.
Jane weighs 115lbs with gear after a full dinner carrying a 5lb bag of feathersPeter set it up the best he could for her and mentioned she needs a lighter spring for her weight.

Sav asked me how to stop crashing and get better. I told him to buy a hawk.

does it also come with someone to get it off/on the stands?
my bike is sprung for someone 180lbs. I never changed the springs, I just ride it. I'm in the same boat as Jane and need lighter springs that they don't make. PK still gets it working quite well.

Guilty
I had some big plans for mine, but since the opportunity came up… I thought about it a lot and my current Hawk might be over my head as far as wrenching goes, and I'm not fast enough to really take advantage of its race mods. Jane's is in fantastic shape, and mostly stock so I can at least follow the manual instead of using deductive guesses, tea leaves, augury etc. And it's… so… pretty
Only possible snag is seeing how it fits. Should be fine since Jane and I are around the same size, but I'll have to try it out at the track. I also did get kind of attached to mine. But I know my limitations…
So another (less pretty, but faster) Hawk will most likely be up for sale after the next BoMo day, once I've cleaned it up and replaced a few things.
edit: Thank you, Jane & Freddy![]()
