Ohhhhhh boy. I'm excited, never been to crowhill.

You ready to sell me your woods bike yet? I could use some two-stroke in my life.

I went to wareham, hit my first MX jumps on the KDX. While it doesn't have the same exhilaration as road racing, damn! MX is fun and cheap. Found myself looking at the KTM 125 SX when I got home.

HAHA, That would be my exact dirty progression. MX gets a lot more fun the better you get. It can rival roadracing. But they are different.

I rode the track on Saturday and it was awesome. Tons of bikes but it was well organized with good flaggers and the day went smoothly. Perfect weather too...

No, they only groom on Tuesday. Saturday will always be a rutted mess with kickers on most jump faces. Robbie an friends see value in real racers learning to ride rough tracks because that's what you will find at a an NESC race with a huge turnout. Just be glad his mother won't let him put in 6 foot tall whoops everywhere. If I make it this Tuesday, I can report back on the track changes.

    Re: Crow Hill 2014

i never thought it was 'a mess' like some say (i'm a believer in riding a rough track as well) but those pics look freekin' gorgeous. maybe he's gained a ton of skill with the dozers and skids (?) it might be the photo editing but the course itself looks more interesting than my last visit. (prob almost 2 seasons ago now i bet, cant remember)

i think it's lame the whoops always vanish (i remember the bitching on NEBD a while back) but no 6-footers for me, thank you

might be able to join you next Tues. what time do you arrive?

I went to MX-23 in Brookfield last weekend. It was a nice SX style track. The jumps were too much for this old man.

    Re: Crow Hill 2014

Yes - MX-23. It is a privately owned track on Quaboag Road. If you were heading east on Rt-9, just before you come to the Clambox restaurant you would take a right on to Quaboag Road. You go over a railroad trestle, and the tracks entrance is immediately on the right.
    PM me for more information.
