the dye on the red leather bled everywhere. paint held up fairly well. needs another coat though

I actually have a large dig out of the left engine cover on my GSXR from that curb. I kept trying to tighten up my apex and got a little bit TOO close...bike went airborne but somehow managed to stay on 2 wheels .

Alright PeaPod! lookin v good on that corner! I sat out this year but have a "new" zzr600 blue. Once I either loose weight or get a new suit I'll be back.

Same here, I never saw the first. That is, by far, the weirdest thing I have seen on the racetrack. Awesome!

The 2nd photo is mine. I was standing in T1 when it happened. I heard a bike hit the deck and start sliding. First I ID'd the bike on it's side sliding.. then noticed there wasn't a rider anywhere near it. "Where'd the rider go?" Then I noticed the 2-up race bike. Was so dumfounded it took me a moment to think to lift the camera up and snap some shots.

Crazy indeed.

I hadn't been doing anything exciting this year with my lap times or finishing position but I do have this moment that trumps anything short of me pulling out a true miracle 1:10 out of my ass. For sure a highlight of my racing career.
