Woodcraft sells heat shielding that is supposed to stick well to fairings. just got some myself. I'll see how well it works this year. tuck the fairing right up against the exhaust and put some of that on.

Cutting a whole would make it not able to hold fluids any more.
Tanz raced it without a lower. The lower he gave me is the one on the bike now. It was on a Ducati.
I'm cutting and doing new mounts now. Will up load pic ASAP.

Not 100% leveled but pretty confident it will hold fluids.
A bit more than 4" clearance at the lowest point in the back. Am I good now ?
