Suspension seminar series this winter.

Many people have expressed an interest in learning more about how bike suspension works and how to do some of their own suspension work. I will be running some of my suspension seminars this fall/winter to cater for those interested in suspension setup, adjustment and maintenance.

The first seminar is scheduled for October 9th at GMD Boston shop in Bellingham Mass. This will be a basic introduction to suspension and how it works with regards to bike handling and behavior.

The cost of this seminar is $75. The seminar will run from 09:00 until about 3PM or so and beakfast and lujch is included in the price.

All attendees will also receive a voucher worth $50 off any suspension work or parts from GMD boston.

Please indicate here if you are interested in attending.

Peter

John, I will doing a Shop Day this Fall and Winter that would work well for that. The Computrack measurement will determain the next steps when I find out what needs to be done, but if it is just the front end we can fix it right then...

http://www.computrackboston.com/seminars.htm

This seminar will cover all the basics of chassis and suspension dynamics. Everything from chassis measurement, alignment, suspension theory, springs and damping theory, data aquisision, coatings and polishing and more. You will have a complete over view of how chassis and suspensions work together and how the component parts work. We will explain not just how to set the clickers, but how the forks and shock work and why and how changes are made. Later in the Winter we will have more advanced classes and even a hands on shop class, but you will need to have completed this basic class first. Send me an email tp peter@computrackboston.com to sign up

GMD Computrac is a great suspension house.

I have been to a couple of suspension seminars, Pete does a fantastic job.

In fact, he just measured and corrected my race bike suspension before this last weekend, he found things I never would have known about; it was like buying the championship!

Thanks Pete, I should have come to you sooner.

I was kind of hoping for pickled herring dipped in some top of the line 10W-50 myself.
