I wanted to say thanks to Peter Kates for doing such a great job on my SV. He set up the front forks, installed a Penske shock, Pilot Powers and Goodridge brake lines.

The bike is totally transformed, and I can't wait to see what the difference is under more favoriable riding conditions than I've managed to find so far.

If you are thinking of getting suspension work done, I would highly suggest getting in touch with Peter. He was very down to earth, answered all of my many questions, and really took time to explain the 'how and why'. His prices were reasonable and the bike was ready ahead of schedule.

For other SV owners...if you are looking to burn a small hole in your pocket, suspension is the way to go on this bike
