respringim getting a rear shock (GSXR i beleive) from one of the other members on this board for my SV. he weighs about 50lbs less than me, so im assumong the shock will have to resprung for my weight right? how much and how long? |

respringi do not know what is on there now but i do know that it has been done already for the previuos owner, but he says he weighs about 175lbs in full gear. i weigh around 220 without gear, so approx. 50lbs more than him. if that helps ![]() |

respringIf the spring is navy blue it made by Hypercoil. The rate is ground on the end, you'll have to remove the spring to find it. If the spring is maroon, it is an Eibach and the size and rate are printed on teh side 0700.225.0425 7 inch, 2.25 id, #425 lbs/in. |
