Replacing Fork Oil With Motor Oil ?god I hope I dont get laughed off the board for this. I heard recently that you can use conventional motor oil in place of fork oil, is this true? if so aside from the weight difference what would be the benefit? |

Replacing Fork Oil With Motor Oil ?i was right there when he said it. normally I'd say , but then I was thinking the same thing when he said he ran teens on a SV650 with stock motor and a STOCK rear shock, until I looked at this race bike to confirm it. |

Replacing Fork Oil With Motor Oil ?When DuHamel was running the ZX-6D with Muzzy, he once said that they used ATF for fork fluid in those units. The forks had no adjustments, and ATF worked great. As for motor oil? I would run that by Pete first.... |
