Leaking fork seals.

Well 30K+ miles and a few wheelies add up to a fork seal leaking... Bike is out of commision till Peter can get to it. I guess it was leaking as of last week when Jamie (Skiierx mentioned the oil on my lowers, I blamed it on the road repairs I just rode over... Not the case as I see how bad it's leaking now! I built up a small puddle on my front rim while sitting in the Moto Market parking lot last night..

Made the call today, and as I expected Peter is at the track making money! So early next week delivery of my RC51 to GMD/Bellingham for some TLC is scheduled..

New seals and oil for both front forks, possibly have him bleed the brakes, and clutch while it's there.

Thanks for taking the time to talk to me today Peter, see you next week.

Mike

The bike is now in the hands of Mr. Kates. Should be done for Friday so I can ride it to the Cape Saturday for Adams services.

I hope it doesn't hurt too much...

Hmm Forgot about this thread!
Updated:

Peter had my bike back to me exactly when he said he could! Bike feels very good now, both forks compress the same now! Go Figure! He even cleaned the front end from where my fork oil leaked all over the front ens and plastics! Cost wasn't too bad either thanks to the NESR Discount!

Thanks Peter, see you about the rear shock when I have the coin for it... Probably over the winter.
