sv650-gsxr600 front suspension swap

Hey Peter---question for ya---I'm trying to uprade the front suspension on my (actually Erins') '00 sv650---I've found forks w/trippletrees on e-bay for $200 from a gsxr600 '01-03 or another set from a '97-00 gsxr600 and I was wondering if you know if either of these will fit (I know the top gooseneck bearing is different and must be changed)?

sv650-gsxr600 front suspension swap

I make a stem that will bolt right on, but I would look for an inverted fork, you have more options with front ride heights.
