How close are these forks to max travel?

You should get 200,000 - 300,000 miles out of them with proper rebuilds..... You can't tell from a photo, that's what data aquisition is for.

Pete when I meant travel the question was how close is the fork to bottoming out? I think I will put zip ties on my fork tubes and see how far down they get pushed at next track day.

I know what you meant I was goofing on you. Zip ties will give you some idea, just make sure they are really tight.

a stock sv fork? they are pretty close to bottomed out i run 20wt oil and 90kg springs and mine are close to bottomed out

HA, ok I was like Pete really read that the wrong way....

Oxx those are forks with the GMD works in them, but stock nontheless. I went outside to read the sticker w/specs but its all faded.

I guess I'll keep running it until it feels funny, it felt fine until I saw the pic. I am thinking that in the bowl they must be more compressed as well as out back when hitting the transition.

Methinks the best suspension mod for me is throttle and braking control

Your in T11 looking at the chicane and you have plenty of stroke left. You should be gassing it harh there.
