Penske ShocksI saw on a UK suspension shop's website that Penske shocks within each model line (e.g. 8987, 8981) are all the same except for the mounting hardware. Is there any truth to this? |

Penske ShocksAnswered my own question. I called Penske US, and they said that it could be done, but the top bracket and bottom eyelet would need to be changed out, and the piston would need to be grown by over 1" so in a word...NO. It would cost about $500 to have the a shock overhauled like that, so it's more cost effective to just buy one. |
